Launched in 2008, our client is oneAustralia’s leading payment service providers. They service thousands of businesses across Australia with their innovative payment solutions, and partner with the likes of Visa, Qantas Loyalty, American Express and Verifone.

 

They are now seeking an experienced ProductOwner to join a growing and fast-paced multi-national team. Reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager, the Product Owner role is the customer advocate, and provides the link between the customer and the business. This role would besuited to someone with excellent communication skills and someone capable of selling their product vision to the broader business. You will be working with cross functional teams and be a key player in conceptualising, problem solving, and delivering exciting products for the customer.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 

·       Contribute to product vision and roadmap, including researching and recommending new features for improvement

·       Research, compile and analyse user product feedback

·       Research and analyse the market, competitors, and latest trends

·       Journey mapping and utilising tools to prioritise feature development

·       Write and clearly define requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria

·       Create product roadmaps and translate them into a product backlog

·       Maintaining your product backlog and provide progress reports to the Product Director

·       Acting as a point of contact between teams and stakeholders, as well as keeping customers and stakeholders updated on the status of the product

·       Collaborate with the Design team (UI/UX) to ensure products satisfies customers

·       Collaborate with the technology team, including Business Analysts and Developers, to ensure product requirements are met

·       Conduct user testing

·       Product planning and delivery, documentation, and internal user training.

 

What you might bring to the table:

·       Experience in B2B SaaS, Fintech or consumer payments a plus

·       A solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies

·       Experience with design thinking methodologies

·       Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

·       Knowledge and experience of agile methodologies

·       Ability to collaborate with different people from different teams

·       Self-motivated and highly organised

·       Ability to be proactive in solving customer issues

·       Ability to make fast decisions

·       Excellent people and stakeholder management skills

·       An eager and curious mindset

·       Committed to personal development
